Harambee Weekend

Harambee Weekend is a personalized event for admitted students and their families that provides insight into the SDSU African-American/Black community on campus.

It includes:

• An optional overnight experience for the first-year admitted student
• Performances and entertainment
• Black Student Organization Fair
• Informative sessions for the entire family
• Dinner
• Chance to meet current students and campus leaders
• Display of resources available on campus

This event will also provide students and families with an introduction to the Gus and Emma Thompson Black Resource Center and its academic and career programs.
